Pedi App – Terms of Use

Welcome to Pedi! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pedi mobile application (“App”), website, and services (collectively, the “Platform”) provided by Pedicab Solutions Inc. (“Pedi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Use of the Platform
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the App.
Account Registration: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity under your account.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated.
2. Services Provided
Pedi connects passengers with available tricycle drivers for transport services. We are a technology platform — we do not own, operate, or manage vehicles. All transportation services are provided by independent drivers.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
Treat drivers and other users with respect.
Not misuse, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App or its services.
Be responsible for payment of services requested through the App.
4. Payments
Fare Estimates: The App may show estimated fares. Final fare may vary based on distance, time, and other factors.
Payment Methods: You agree to pay the full amount through available payment methods (cash, e-wallets, credit/debit cards, etc.).
Cancellations & Fees: Cancelling a booking after a grace period or repeated cancellations may incur fees.
5. Driver Conduct and Liability
Drivers are third-party contractors, not employees of Pedi. While we screen drivers, we do not guarantee their behavior or performance. In case of disputes, please report incidents through the App for investigation.
6. Promotions and Rewards
Pedi may offer promo codes, referral bonuses, or loyalty programs. These may be modified or revoked at our sole discretion, without notice.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason deemed necessary to protect our users or services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pedi is not liable for:
Damages, injuries, or losses arising from use of the Platform or services.
Delays, cancellations, or failures by drivers.
Unauthorized access or use of your data.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
